Bryce is Five

Bryce is 5 years old. He weighs 30.8 pounds and he is about 42 inches tall. He is small for his age. It makes me glad that he will be the oldest in his kindergarten class next year.

He is all boy. He loves Star Wars legos, cars, and guns. Bryce likes to play outside. He is really good at riding his bike, but we haven't convinced him to give it a go without the training wheels. He is a very detailed little boy. He likes to take apart legos and put them back together. He likes puzzles and coloring. He has been introduced to the Playstation this year, largely because it occupies time while I am busy taking care of Kate's cast. He is awesome. He plays Lego Star Wars and Indiana Jones! He is really developing good coordination.

Bryce is a great big brother. He loves Kate. He takes care of her. He never gets a snack or drink without getting something for Kate. Bryce loves his family. He likes spending the day and Grandma and Grandpa's house and asks to go at least once a week.

Bryce is starting to learn his alphabet. He recognizes some letters and can almost write his name. He loves to learn. He knows all his colors and shapes. He loves to read books. During the afternoon when Kate takes a nap, I often find him in his room looking through books.

Bryce is a very caring and sweet little boy. He gets along with his family and he trys his hardest to be good. He very rarely throws fits. His favorite day is staying at home and playing.
